- The slings are made to include an excess of webbing. Once the sling is fitted to your needs, you can stow the excess webbing into the provided tri-glides, tape it down, or cut it.

As I got tired of sub-par slings that these companies sell from China or with little forward thinking into the design, I set out for a new sling lineup for our shop. We kept seeing issues with most designs either being severely too big/heavy for carbine/PDW use or just cheaply thrown together with no in depth thought on where the clips should be, where the padding should start, or the stitching quality. Overall, most had just plain, ol’ poor execution.
Enter FFC.
I found Chad through his IG posts and started looking carefully at his design. Once I noticed how high quality his production was, I reached out. Without hesitation, he had a few of his products in the mail. After I received the sling, brace strap, and ear pro wrap, I started loaning them out to my staff for everyone to get some time with them. When my guys rotated back, they had the same consensus I did: great American made, quality products that were well thought out and not overpriced. Just simple things like the sling being minimalistic yet still not giving excessive roll when transitioning. Or how the ear pro wrap incorporated an HK hook for attaching it to your belt between drills and taping.

OK. A couple things. First, I almost never leave reviews. I have to really love or hate something to bother with it. Second, I hate slings. You gotta have one but all that I’ve tried are great in one aspect while falling short in another. Until now. My FFC padded sling is hands-down, the best I’ve ever tried. I will be taking this to a 3-day carbine course next month and can’t wait to put this through it’s paces. For now, I’ll be selling 6 other slings and buying another padded sling from these guys. This is the most comfortable sling I’ve ever used. If your rifle is heavy, I couldn’t recommend anything more. The padded section on the sling is longer than usual so once you get it adjusted the only part that holds weight on your body is the pad. It removed the Hotspot my old sling caused completely

Was recommended by a friend who got his for an AR build. Just got 2 of these in. Put on my AK (had some spare QD swivels and clips).
Make seems nice and rugged, but slim design (not too much padding, not too little). BIG. Don’t worry about having enough slack. In fact they could almost cut down a bit and I am a big guy. 3XL/Tall size everything. I constantly have to worry about things being the right size. Fits nice, easy to use. Quick-adjust grip was intuitive to use the moment I got it around my neck. Nice product.

Awesome product, did a little shipping show down between a few sling makers and flatline beat everyone out to the door step by a couple days. Once I bad this bad daddy sling in hand, I knew I got something you can’t really expect now days for the price. Awesome quality and damn good price. Threw it on a 14 pound rifle, and it was wide enough to feel good across the body without getting caught on other things like ruck or carrier. Gave it a little strength test by using the sling on a bar to do pull ups. At 253lbs before kit, the sling threads still held no problem. Needless to say I think It would take an act of God to remove it from your body.

I would really give 4.5 stars as it’s a good sling overall, but not perfect. Overall quality and construction is nearly perfect. The layout, and free lengths are extremely generous. The padded portion strikes a perfect balance between being there, but not feeling like a padded sling. Overall operation is good. The quick adjust is a hair better than Vickers for speed of adjustment. But still sluggish compared to some. It’s not a huge thing. But if you’re breaking out of full tight to a ready position it’s just not as fast as a few other options out there. That is my only gripe, and it’s still faster than Vickers. While being lighter, not as stiff, and generally more comfortable. This is a well balanced product overall. It is better than the majority of other slings on the “short list”.

Excellent sling! Easy to setup by watching the video on the product page. I like the adjustment strap. I’m short at 5’4” and have each end taken up to the max. With the adjustment strap pulled to the minimum setting it puts my rifle just between the low and high ready when at rest. I feel the sling is just the right width with sufficient padding. They have a great selection of color ways and most importantly they have a solid sling material that is easy to adjust and will remain adjusted to your size setting. Im not knocking the quality of the sling in this review, I just simply don’t like a flimsy sling, I prefer a stiffer material so it’s less prone to getting tangled or twisted like a BFG or a VTAC. Ignore my review if you’re okay with that. All other aspects of my purchase were fantastic.

Thank you for the review! Check out our setup videos on youtube. You can stow the extra webbing back into the triglides and you may only have to cut just a inch or so off. I’ve tried a LOT of different slings over the years. In recent years the development of the quick adjustable style has been a huge plus. My equipment gets primarily used for Run and Gun type events where quick adjusting slings are a necessity. I recently purchased the Flatline padded sling after Chad answered my email asking if I can change from pull/open, push/closed to the opposite push/open, pull closed. I prefer push open as you are gaining slack for movement while the support hand is in transit to mount the rifle. Another big plus, the padded version’s resistance to twisting. This has always been a huge pet peeve of mine when I’m trying to snug up and stow my rifle and my sling is all twisted up. The padded sling is perfect for any rifle that has some heft to it. Just enough so it doesn’t feel like the sling is digging into your flesh, without being bulky.

Great sling. I have a few different brands, but this seems to be my favorite so far of the quick adjust variety. Not as bulky as a VTAC, adjusts more smoothly than the BFG. Haven’t done much training with it yet, but you can pretty much tell how a sling is going to be once you’ve tried a few.

Excellent sling. Fit and finish is perfect. The adjustability is quite stiff compared to some previous slings I have used. Packaging is excellent. Price is competitive. Highly recommended.

This is the best sling on the market as far as simplicity and ergonomics. There are others that are similar using a ruck style release and tighten buckle but it always ends up in your arm pit and you gotta search for it. The flat line one slide is always right where you need it and isnt bulky.

Excellent sling. This one has risen to the top for me out of several other well known and establish slings. I love the size of the pull-tab. Easy to operate with and without gloves. I also appreciate the structure that the padding adds to the sling. The structure makes it easier to pull the string around your neck or body, depending on how your manipulating it, without it getting caught on little snag points. 10/10 would recommend. Met Chad at a class, too. Let me have one of his slings because the one I was using was giving me issues. Had to come back and support the business for that! I’ve bought several items from FFC since.

Plenty of adjustment room for setup on rifle, AR, shotgun, or SMG/SBR. These are solid, lightweight and comfortable slings that don’t feel stiff or cumbersome like others at a higher price point. I purchased a limited edition padded rifle sling and I love the color design. However, it feels kinda cheap but we’ll see how it holds up for hard use.
Compared to a padded Slytactical rifle sling and BFG Padded sling, I would put this at the bottom but we’ll see over time.

Shipping was fast and website was easy to use. Love all the pattern/color options available. I’ve used a lot of slings in my day at a JTAC in the Marine Corps. Out of the box, I am not super impressed with the sling. Sling is made with tubular nylon which is tough and stitching seems well made but I’m skeptical about the plastic hardware. Sling is extremely light and padding is on the lighter side. Would have liked to see aluminum hardware for the price. I’ve ran a VTAC sling for 8 years of hard abuse without a single issue. Time will tell with this Flatline sling. Lifetime warranty eases my worries tho. Thanks

I am very hesitant on trying products from different companies, However, after seeing nothing but positive reviews I figured I would give Flatline Fiberco a try. I still purchased 3 padded slings and have no regrets. Has a generous adjustment handle that’s hard to miss, that adjusts smoothly. Nice padding without going too wide. Includes 3 triglides for any types of adjustments and the bonus for me was a sticker and mini target for dryfire(Not sure if this is a regular thing). Will definitely be back for more slings and other products.
