The Qela sling draws inspiration from our OG sling, offering comfort, ease of installation, and durability. The heart and soul of this sling lies in the adjuster, which has undergone a year of development, with the user’s needs in mind at every step. The adjuster features a palm swell at the rear and a textured surface everywhere for a secure grip and purchase. The sling is an often overlooked piece of equipment, but we believe it’s an invaluable part of the system. - The slings are made to come with an excess amount of webbing. Once the sling is fitted to your needs, you can stow the excess webbing into the provided tri-glides, secure it with tape, or cut it.

The adjustment slider is perfect. It stays out of the way and won’t catch on anything when you’re not using it. When you need it, you can grab it from nearly any angle, and the palm swell will fit in your palm and start moving the slider. Couldn’t be easier to use.
I had just bought an OG Flatline sling a couple of months ago and debated purchasing the Qela, but after only one range day, I can say it is definitely worth it. I will buy this for any future rifles I get.

Bear with me. I never review anything. If you are looking for a well made sling for your working gun, buy this. The adjuster is smooth as butter. It’s easy to manipulate from any angle or position and sets in solid position. The webbing is goldilocks. Not too thick, not too thin. Most padded slings have too much padding. This sling has the best of a slick sling and a padded. There is plenty of webbing for all body types. If you don’t want to cut it after you size it to yourself, fold up the webbing and throw some 1” one wrap on there and you are golden.
If you’re on the fence, just buy it. You won’t regret it.

I’ve always considered FFC’s traditional, padded slings to be the best out of about 10 I’ve tried. Then, I got the CCT version, and thought it was an even better version. Now, I’ve tried the Qela. This takes the sling to a new level.
Everything is really the same except for the slider, but that’s where the impact is really made. Working it up/down is more intuitive and quicker.
At first, the slider looked kind of bulky compared to the CCT. However, it’s made of a lightweight but durable material. The extra surface area on the lip of the adjuster makes it ergonomically perfect for my thumb. It’s an absolute upgrade.
My only gripe is that the Qela doesn’t use aluminum triglides like the CCT. I’m not sure it truly matters but it doesn’t have the same premium feel. It’s also cheaper than the CCT, likely for that reason.
I am very glad I decided to buy a couple Qelas. I hope they offer more camo options in the future as well.

The Qela sling is the best that I have ever used. In my opinion it is the best balance between minimalist, padded, and ergonomic in use. I ended up getting 6 of them in different colors for our various weapons and they are all high quality with no found issues. The padding is just enough to provide a little cushion and wider support without being overly bulky. I also really like that the padding provides a little bit of rigidity or “stiffness” to it which aids in donning/doffing, but then flexes perfectly when in use. The adjustment works great, is easy to find/use and it is nice being a polymer that it doesn’t scratch or clang on weapons. The pad is sewn into the webbing rather than an add on that slips over which I feel makes it very streamlined which reduces snag points on gear or clothing. I also like how smooth it all feels as I haven’t had these Qela slings snag hair which can be an annoyance with other slings. They seem like they are built strong enough to last forever and we shall see!

After trying out the Qela sling, I really like the width and the rigid padded section really help while doing shoulder transitions. The slider can be used with ease although it may not provide same retention like a metal clamp, it is still by far one of the best offering using fiction buckle as a solution. Overall build quality is amazing. Purchase without regrets.

And *largely* you’d be correct.
Hear me out though – the Qela slider/adjuster truly is the difference maker here – the padding and webbing on the sling is s tier quality but the differentiator is the slider.
Easy to locate and manipulate gloved or bare handed putting your rifle exactly where you need it, on demand.
Ill be buying another (several) more.

Great product very well made with great stitching, was concerned about the length of the sling being too long but even with the padded version it can be adjusted much shorter than people may think. Perfect size padding. Very easy to fit to the rifle and easy to swing to the back. Does not catch on a PC or chest plate in transitions.

I’m a longtime user of a different, well established brand of slings but i started seeing FF co. when looking for a new sling and I’m glad i made the switch. These cost less than my old brand of slings and are near perfect. the webbing material seems thin at first but feels very high quality, got used to the feel quickly and noticed that it moves around your body and gear with much less resistance. the slider/adjustment buckle is also leagues above the usual pull tab that you can miss quite easily in the dark or with gloves on, just grip and pull.

It’s a very comfortable and quality made sling. The reason it’s 4/5 stars is the adjustment slider does not slide easily. The part of the slider that contacts the nylon should be smooth but it is not. Compared to my Magpul MS3 it is much harder to adjust the Qela.

Thanks for the review! The sling will break in over time, and it should be just perfect. We don’t like them to be super easy to adjust from the get-go, so the sling doesn’t slip when under a load.
